TERO ON THE GÉNIAL! PROGRAM OF TÉLÉ-QUÉBEC

On December 3, 2019, Tero appeared on the Génial! program of Télé-Québec. Guests Bernard Lavallée (the urban nutritionist) and Florence Léa Siry (Chic Frigo Sans Fric) and their teammates had to answer a question about the Tero device.

TRADE MISSION TO EUROPE
November 2019
From November 23 to 30, 2019, Elizabeth embarked on a trade mission to Belgium and France with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Quebec (CCIQ) to meet the various stakeholders related to food waste management.
She had several very interesting meetings that will allow the team to integrate their European market more easily when they will be ready to export the Tero device. This trade mission was organized as part of the CCIQ’s Parcours Europe program.

KICKSTARTER : $1.75 M
October 2019
From October 15 to November 14, 2019, we carried out our very first crowdfunding campaign and it was a huge success! In 24 hours, we raised over $1 million in funding! Our goal was to reach $70,000 and it was reached in less than 10 minutes.
It was a great reward for our team, for all the years working with dedication, to see all the interest and enthusiasm in our Tero device. After 30 days of campaigning, over $1.75 million had been raised and this money will be used for the production of the devices that have been ordered.
The Tero team would like to thank all the contributors who participated in the crowdfunding campaign from the bottom of their hearts. Their contributions will allow us to make Tero a reality!

UNVEILING OF OUR NEW IMAGE AND KICKSTARTER ANNOUNCEMENT

After several months of work with our various product development partners, including Creaform Engineering and the Centre de Recherche et d’Industrie de Québec (CRIQ), we finally unveiled the new brand image of the Tero device in September 2019 and announced the launch date of our Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign.
The crowdfunding campaign will last for 30 days and will start on October 15, 2019. During this campaign, people will be able to contribute to our project by pre-ordering their Tero device.

PARTICIPATION IN STARTUPFEST

It is with great pride that we received one of the three J. Armand Bombardier Foundation’s Excellence Scholarships for Young Entrepreneurial Women worth $10,000!

This year, it is the 20 th edition of the Pierre-Péladeau Bursary, which aims to stimulate the creation of businesses among young Quebec university students. TERO WINS THE FIRST PRIZE AT THE 2017 BUSINESS IDEAS COMPETITION

" On Wednesday, November 15, the Gala for the awards ceremony of the 16th edition of the Business Ideas Competition organized by Entrepreneuriat Laval took place in the Le Grand Salon room of the Alphonse-Desjardins pavilion. This competition aims to stimulate the emergence of new business projects within each of the faculties of the campus. This year, 108 people representing 13 of the 17 faculties of Université Laval submitted a total of 81 projects." "

To mark the International Industrial Design Day, the Association of Industrial Designers of Quebec (ADIQ) presented the winners of the incubADIQ competition on June 29, 2017 during a networking cocktail at the Espace BRP in Montreal.
The "Tero" project presented by Université Laval graduates Valérie Laliberté and Elizabeth Coulombe won the incubADIQ Prize "Most original project – chosen by the professional community ."

Tero was at the Salon International du Design Industriel de Montréal, at Place Bonaventure, on May 6, 2017, with the graduates of the first cohort of the bachelor’s degree in product design from Université Laval.
